Ken has over 25 years of experience in civil litigation, including professional malpractice, construction defects, fire loss, medical devices, products liability, lead paint exposure, radon gas exposure, insurance coverage, contract disputes, and trust and estates matters. He is barred in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Ken received national attention for a 2015 lawsuit in which he successfully defended the Chesapeake Region Volleyball Association of U.S.A. Volleyball in a suit filed by a player dissatisfied with her playing time. The case was featured on ABC’s Good Morning America, NBC’s Today Show, CBS This Morning, and Fox News’ Fox & Friends. Ken has extensive history with the D.C. Defense Lawyers’ Association, serving as President from 2007-2008 and as a Member of the Board of Directors from 2008-2012. Ken is also active in The Barristers of Washington, DC, a non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining high standards of legal ethics among its members. He was named a Member of the Executive Committee in 2003 and elected President in 2011.
