Washington, D.C. (October 2, 2019): Each year, Americans observe and participate in NationalHispanic Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th, by celebrating the history, culture and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, theCaribbean and Central and South America.

To kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, Associate Attorney Gabriela “Gabi” Chambi who is affiliated with Hispanic Bar Association of D.C. and Carr Maloney’s lead contact for The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Chambi, Elizabeth Briones, and Samantha Lewis attended a community forum lead by DC Congresswoman Norton. At the forum, personal triumphant stories and inspirational journeys of Hispanic leaders in D.C were shared.
As members of The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, The Firm will also attend the GWCC’s 11th Annual Embassy Dinner. Each fall the dinner brings together ambassadors from Latin America to continue developing mutual relationships in benefit of the regional economy.
